Installation
The mechanical components of the BioCompact® C system are placed in the prepared concrete basin. Subsequently, sensors and the electronic control system are installed. After connecting the BioCompact® to the influent and effluent pipes, and to an electrical power source, the system is ready for operation.
Maintenance
Ordinary maintenance includes a monthly check of the concentration of activated sludge, a bimonthly check for verification of proper operation of sensors and their cleaning. The frequency of discarding accumulated non-biodegradable material, sand, and excess sludge depends largely on the influent wastewater quality, and thus on the habits of the population connected to the treatment system.
