The BioCompact® family is a line of affordable small to medium-sized wastewater treatment plants. These plants have a long history. They were initially developed in the mid-70s by Apparatebau Salzkotten, a German corporation. The US Coast Guard has used certain BioCompact® plants on ships since approving them almost 20 years ago.
Modular and Scalable
BioCompact® plants are modular and scalable. When your population grows, so too can your treatment system. There is no need for a large up-front investment.

The first North American BioCompact® land installations were in Mexico, starting in 1995. Then, in 1999, BioCompact® installations followed in the US. These BioCompact® systems have performed and continue to perform very well.
Currently, there are more than 3,300 BioCompact® systems installed worldwide, including Europe, Asia, Latin America, and numerous installations on board ships around the sea.
BioCompact® systems are exceptionally designed, well-built, and surface-treated, allowing for a lifetime expectancy of more than 20 years.
